Thursday, October 6 (day 99/365)

Today was Phoebe's nine month well baby visit so Jeremy and I kept her home in the morning so we could all go to the doctor.  The little munchkin is doing great!  The doctor said she's right on her growth curve and seems to be meeting the necessary milestones.  If you remember a while back, I mentioned that the pediatrician had detected a click in Phoebe's hip.  It was still there at this visit so we got sent next door for baby x-rays.  The x-rays themselves were a horrible experience because Jeremy and I had to hold Phoebe down and she was not a fan of the process.  The good news is that her hip is 100% fine and there is nothing to worry about.  That is definitely a relief. At this visit, Phoebe weighed in at 19 pounds, 8 ounces (50-75 percentile) and measured 30 inches (>97 percentile).  They didn't measure her head this time so we'll just have to assume that is doing fine too :)

Here's photographic evidence of a rather frightening baby milestone - climbing!  Phoebe has started climbing anything she can.  Including one time when she managed to get half way up the baby gate.

Oh, I'm not supposed to climb on things and get into your stuff?  My bad.
