On Sunday, we went to a cook-out at our friends Hayley and Todd's house. I know Hayley from baby group, so I guess the more important thing to note is that the cook-out was at Phoebe's friend Dexter's house. There were three families there, all with kids in the baby group, and it was lots of fun to watch the babies play. I think it was especially fun for the dads since this was the first time many of them had seen the babies play with each other. Jeremy and I had a great time and really enjoyed getting to know the other couples. Who knew that having a baby would be such a great way to make new friends :)
Of course, if we want to keep our new friends, we are going to have to get Phoebe to be nicer to other kids. The first thing she did when we got there was to crawl right over to Dexter and pull his hair. In all fairness, I think she was trying to give him a kiss. It has been a lot of fun watching Phoebe discover other kids and start interacting with them.
